Community news update!

We're back! We thought tiedup's interview was enough lecture for a few weeks, so the entire redaction has been on holiday in Libya. 

Let's start off with some good news: we have in fact managed to produce an oracle for BGU matches between the top 3 clans. Your predictions will never be wrong again!


Unfortunately, one of bg's oldest clans, TEHO, had to leave the league as they are in need of more players.

The latest drama involves 42Cdo and 28th: these clans do not seem to like eachother at all, and their respective clanleaders have had some heated discussions. For more information on this, you can check the 42Cdo forum, which is in fact a great source for bg2-drama.

Moving on, we have some news regarding Livgarden: the recently appointed leader Heinz was replaced by the original founder, Wellington. The weeks of inactivity did not do the clan any good, they did not manage to bring enough members for a linebattle against 3°RGF.


All is quiet on the North American front, there doesn't seem to be a lot going on there.

    Joe from 42nd here.

    28th have accused us of cheating in both matches we played against them and both accusations were proven to be false by 28th's own demos. It's kind of ridiculous really.

    I suggest you see the last convos I and Skill had with 28th in the thread linked to within the article, make sure to bring popcorn. ;)

    The 28th drama probably stems from Irish Thomas being a former member we kicked out. We suspect he holds a grudge against us as his hello usually involves him cursing a lot.

Using our superior investigative powers The Observer has uncovered some pretty neat looking player skins made by the French clan {3°RGF} (3°Régiment de Grenadiers Français).   As you may have guessed by the clan name they are based on French uniforms of the Napoleonic period. As you can see they have some pretty nice stuff here.  It's a shame is they haven't released these to the community as I'm sure there are a few Napoleonic Wars enthusiasts around.

Battlegrounds 2 History X

Long time no post from us at the Observer.  This one isn't really our own work, just highlighting other community documenting efforts. First we have some clan histories compiled by joethepro36 of 42 Commando , which includes accounts from Alpina, Be Blue, The Royal Recruits and 42 Commando.  He is still looking for other clans to contribute so if you have a story to tell get in contact with him.
